The world is full of extraordinary moments. The trick is knowing when to be there.
While It Lasts is a travel magazine built around timing. We cover the wildlife migrations, natural phenomena, cultural traditions, seasonal flavors, festivals, sporting events and adventures that only take place during a particular moment in time.

We believe the why matters most.
Travel inspiration is everywhere. We believe travel can be so much more than a checklist of destinations. It should be experiential and meaningful.
Too often, we discover an extraordinary experience after it’s already happened, or get lost in endless stories about where others went, but not why.
So, we created While It Lasts.
This isn’t a magazine about collecting destinations. It’s about experiencing places when something remarkable is happening there, and giving travelers enough information and inspiration to actually make the journey.
